Hey guys, Nice to meet you. I’m Steph, the owner and creator of SJB Pilates and Mobility
I’ve been a qualified Personal Trainer for over 10 years now and have a wide amount of experience and qualifications in all different areas of fitness. I now mainly specialise as a Pilates and Mobility Coach being a qualified Pilates Teacher with further qualifications in Pre & Post Natal Pilates and Advanced Fitness Pilates for Orthopaedic Conditions.

Pilates is a low impact form of fitness to improve posture, balance, core and muscular strength. Don’t let this fool you, Pilates done right is HARD WORK! Pilates is a great addition to your training regardless of who you are. Elite athlete or someone who has never exercised before, Pilates caters for all and has benefits for all.

Mobility and flexibility are key components in functional fitness and in every day life. The more you focus on your mobility the less likely you are to suffer injuries and restricted movement. Mobility is a fundamental skill we use every single day and one of the key components to staying fit and healthy especially later on in life. My motto is if you don't use it you lose it.
I jumped on board the SJB month long programme and again my mobility and movement returned. I have had apps like ROMWOD in the past but with someone you know providing a varied routine it is a lot harder to fall back into the old habits.

When I started PT with Steph I could only cope with half an hour training at a time. I now train with her twice a week along with doing her 3 Pilates classes. I’ve gone from just being able to reach my knees to now being able to get palms flat the floor.
